The sun it is shining again,
This spring weather is never the same:
One day it is hot
And then it is not:
Oh! Look out! here comes the rain.

There once was a skunk
Who looked like a punk
When his hair stood on end with fright.
The skunk was precocious
The smell was atrocious
So they sprayed him with Turkish Delight ! :P

There was an old man with a shirt
So long that it dragged in the dirt.
His wife gave her meaning
To everyday cleaning
And washed it with starch: so it hurt.

A Lady from near Chelsea bridge
Was known locally as 'the fridge.'
Her skin was like ice
And she wasn't too nice:
So she went off to shiver in Norwich.

The people are going to vote,
From Europe we should be remote.
Though if Dave has his way
He would have us all say
Stay! but we won't: we'll outvote.

At Limericks you'll find I'm no good,
But I think that it's time that I should,
At prose I will try,
Poetry's bad, that's no lie,
So to my shell I'll retreat, if I could.

Sorry. (but I did make an effort.)  :)

Poor Kindred, living in a shell;
I hope you are getting on well.
But I really must say
It's much better to lay
In a shell, than a smelly old barrel.
